*Please note: This Spring Hunter Dance will be offering a West African 3 course which is why we are hosting a placement audition for West African this year
Please sign up for ALL classes you wish you receive a placement

If you arrive after class has started, you will NOT be able to partake in the placement class.

YOU MUST BE PRESENT FOR THE ENTIRE PLACEMENT CLASS.

If you are unable to make these times, please plan ahead to attend our January 2026 Placement classes. More details coming soon.

All currently enrolled dance students must attend either these placement classes or the January 2026 classes. No Exceptions - All students must receive a new placement for each semester.

Placements from the previous semester will not be valid for the spring 2026 enrollment.

Students must sign up for each individual class in the technique they wish to be placement for Spring 2026.

The Dance Dept. is able to provide excusal letters to attend placement classes for all non-department classes upon request. Please email dance@hunter.cuny.edu in advance to request a letter.
